Southeast Asia 2008 (part VIII): Ko Tao

Ko Tao, Thailand:

Ko Nang Yuan

Ko Nang Yuan

After a long bus journey from Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, we finally arrived in the tropical paradise of Ko Tao. Although tourism is nowadays the major industry on the island, there are still few visitors around compared to busy Ko Samui or Ko Pha Ngan. We stayed in a bungalow of the Coral View Resort located just next to the beach and had a couple of relaxed days. Apart from strolling across Ko Tao and chilling at the beach, we took a snorkeling trip around the island as well as visited the tiny neighbouring islet of Ko Nang Yuan. I believe the photographs are enough for you to imagine what a fantastic time we had…

The days flew by and just too quickly we had to return to Bangkok in order to take our flight back home to Germany…
