Video: Wildlife in Kaziranga (India 2016)

The Kaziranga National Park in Assam in northeastern India is a true wildlife paradise and a must-see for every nature enthusiast coming to South Asia! I was lucky enough to visit the park for two days and I have already shown you the best photographs of my five safaris (click here for day 1 and day 2). To complete this short series of posts on the national park, I add the following video, which contains a number of clips shot during my last safari in the central range. In the order of their appearance, you will see the following animals: Great Hornbill, unknown squirrel (maybe you know the species?), Swamp Deer, Hog Deer, Red-breasted Parakeet, Great Hornbill, Asian Elephant, Indian Rhinoceros, Oriental Pied Hornbill, Indian Rhinoceros, Eurasian Otter, Chestnut-headed Bee-eater, Indian Rhinoceros and Wild Boar, Bengal Tiger, and Wild Water Buffalo. I hope you like it!

I took all clips with my Canon 60D and Sigma 120-400 mm lens. Later on, I did some poor amateur editing with Adobe After Effects.

  2. Beautiful! We visited Kaziranga National Park in 2014. Saw a lot many rhinos, elephants, and birds. Nameri National Park is lesser known, but equally beautiful and popular for bird sightings.
